Simply Giving Program

Dear members of United Lutheran;

    The Stewardship Committee of United Lutheran Church invites you to consider a new way of implementing your giving.  Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has developed an automated giving program called Simply Giving to assist congregations and their members.  Our Church Counciland Financial Committee have examined the program and found it to be a good option for members who regularly use automatic withdrawals from their bank accounts.  We currently have some within our congregation using this tool and we invite you to consider it as well.

    Both our members and church benefit with this program.  It eliminates the minor frustrations of writing frequent checks or forgetting the checkbook.  For the church, the advantages are related to consistent, predictable income.  The seasonal fluctuations in giving patterns are lessened.  Thrivent Financial offers this service to benefit congregations.  They pay all of the cost for this service.

You can implement this plan by completing the enrollment form found as insert in your April Newsletter on the purple sheet.
